Step 1 - Choose complexity

Start with mesh points – these control complexity. More points = more detail and variation. Also, how many color points you can use inside the mesh

🔀 Hit that randomize button to explore different patterns. I usually start here to find the vibe I'm after before diving into colors.

I am keeping it simple so I will go with 1×1.

Step 2 – Pattern first, color second

Here's a workflow tip that'll save you frustration: Choose your PATTERN first, THEN apply colors. If you do it backwards, randomizing resets all your color choices.

🌐 For that subtle 3D effect, try a darker color in the center point with vibrant colors on the four edge points. This creates natural depth that makes your gradient feel more dimensional.

Step 3 – Tada!

And that's it. You have a beautiful mesh gradient and the techniques to get endless variation.

Getting my feet wet in google analytics

This week, as the title says, I'm learning Google Analytics - a subject that has been quite intimidating since I started my career in tech. I feel like it should be easier to understand, especially considering how much we talk about user-friendly interfaces in our design work. But honestly, it's not.

It confuses you right from the start - there are technical terms everywhere, and with all those question marks next to each input field, it feels like you need to be really careful with every value you enter to get proper results.

I don't have much to share yet since I'm still figuring things out by watching their tutorials on YouTube. My goal is to reach a point where I can understand how to set up the right parameters for my business, and maybe even create a video to share some shortcuts with you all.

Just hit reply and let me know if you're interested in learning analytics too!
