Video Tutorial is linked below.
Step 1 - Use plugin with presets
⚡ Quick way:
Duplicate your image.
Open the Displace plugin.
Pick a preset + adjust offset.
There it is — instant frosted glass effect.

Use displace plugin with presets
Step 2 – Use custom displacement map
🎨 Custom way:
Grab a texture (light/dark areas).
Open Realistic Glass plugin.
Select your image + texture.
Adjust amount & smoothness.
There it is — fluted glass on the top

Use Realistic Glass plugin with custom displacement map.
Step 3 – Final touch
✨ Pro tip:
Stack the original image on top
blur an oval around the face and use it as mask,
then lower opacity so some glass texture shows through.
It looks sleek & seamless.

Use an oval shape mask to show the face a bit.
Step 4 – Tada!
And that’s it — 2 ways to create the Glass Displacement Effect.

RECENT LEARNING
The Experimental Mindset.
I love watching videos to learn new things, whether it is for hands-on skill or gaining perspective on mindset. I decided to share 1 video that I feel beneficial to me and change me recently.
The thumbnail is a miss for me, but the content is a real gem. It categorize people in 4 quadrants, divided by ambition and curiosity. And people with high ambition and high curiosity are ones equip with experimental mindset. To me, I put this into my brain and strive to embrace that.
What about you? If you are feeling stuck, watch the video, and hopefully unblock you a bit.
