It has never been easier to create beautiful graphical elements in Figma ever since the launch of Figma draw.
This week and the following, we dig deep on Radial repeat, you will be mind blown how many different graphic it can produce and how versatile it is.
And to encapsulate the powerful feature properly, I've prepared a series of tutorials to explain from basic to complex.
Let's start with something simple. Here we go!
LEARN DESIGN
Radial graphics are a simple way to add energy to your designs.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to create a clean, center-aligned radial pattern in Figma using basic shapes.

Step 1 - Start with a straight line
Press L to draw
Set stroke thickness (e.g. 32)
Use “Radial Repeat” in Figma

Use straight line and click on radial repeat in Figma draw.
Step 2 – Fix the alignment
Outline the stroke (turn it into a shape)

Right click to outline the stroke
Step 3 – Soften the look
Want a softer, modern look?
Adjust the shape’s points
and round the corners
Play with the count to get the density right.

Rounded the upper corners.
Step 4 – Tada!
That’s it. A clean, well-balanced radial graphic.
You can reuse this shape across headers, cards, or hero sections.
